If you have ever tried to trade remotely in that manner it's very difficult to have a feel for what's going on in the market. I can see a wireless laptop....but receiving alerts and quotes is pretty tough compared to sitting in front of your screen w/ all the resources at your finger tips. I've successfully traded this system w/ a Nokia pcs phone for over 4 month periods. You really have to have clear buy /sell goals set in your mind to be effective. Also its hard to spot big changes in the market unless you set lots of alerts for the index movements. But, if you have to be away and need to watch over your investments it's great. Trading is little tough but for monitoring they are a comfort. But if an alert to buy or sell is triggered...it's easy. Make the trade. Jeff
