The Joshua Tree earthquake of October 1999 should not have a material impact on the sales or earnings of TW. Joshua Tree is a beautiful National Park located in the high desert between Victorville and Barstow. Over 100 miles northeast of Los Angeles. Although the park is situated in a extraordinarily dry and arid climate a special part palm, part succulent tree thrives there. These trees grow apart 20 feet apart and live over 100 years. Believe it or not they are the most beautiful at night. These trees are so hardy, Californians from all over the state proudly grow this tree on their properties.

Contrast this 7.0 quake to the similar quake centered in Northridge during January of 1994. The current quake was centered in a sparsely populated area, miles away from the cars and homes TW insures in L.A. while the 1994 was centered around the block from TW headquarters. I pity the lizard and gila monster population of the high desert but the Angelitos are safe and only a bit shaken up. Keep the faith.
