I know no details, but I suspect that network is probably unstable. It all depends on how it is configured. I would also guess that DT is interested in building an ATM backbone to run an IP network. While Cisco sells the product I would suggest that this is not their strength. I don't know if this wholesale upgrade is actually happening. The information I received was word of mouth, and maybe too many mouths. I was curious what your sleuthing may have turned up considering the opportunity to NN. I heard it in reference to Ascend. I would conjecture that it is a real long shot for Ascend given their lack of IP experience and lack of European presence.
