KM,

Great article, thanks for posting it. I must admit my read of the options market has been on the lacking side. Thanks to heinz and yourself I am seeing what a valuable tool it can be.

Regards,

SO

KM, thanks for the article. i have a lot of respect for jay shartsis, his calls are usually right on the money. but my own interpretation of the divergence is that the market as a whole will likely be range-bound in the near term. although there were some opportunities to make some money in puts, i am reluctant to buy index puts when they are so popular. aol is a now-and-then target of mine when it gets too overbought. it will be interesting to see how the sentiment measures develop if the market indeed trades sideways for a while. during february/early march optimism evaporated steadily, which got me to cover my shorts and switch to a bullish stance. in my experience sentiment indicators are very reliable in signaling in which direction congestions are eventually resolved.

regards,

hb
