Papaya, I am not familiar with ORB but if the street thinks it smells and the company has shown no sign of clearing the air, it will remain depressed until the air gets cleared. By which time, the stock could have been plummeted another 10 -15 points. But if the company can clear up the air and show they have nothing to hide, then it's got a shot of a rebound play as the street shifts from being sketical to value-buying it. To be sure, give the company a call and see if they want to clear the air with you and why not otherwise.

I jumped into SGP today. Enough exposure with two drugs already. My limit. Glad I held onto CSCO and WCOM to fight another day or week. <GG> All their supports still hold despite today's scare.

Doc - I bet you didn't check out MERQ. I dipped below $25 momentarily yesterday and today it closed above $28. Tell ya - this is heavily manipulated. The fundies is great and will likely get greater as their web application testing business will represent an even bigger part of their overall revenue and income pie.

Know that NEM and gold stocks have been rallying. On the sideline however.

An interesting idea for a gold play:
NEW YORK, April 30 (Reuters) - A spirited rebound in U.S. gold mining stocks may provide gold bugs with a rewarding investment alternative to the metal, which has lost some of its luster due to bearish supply and demand factors, analysts said.

But if gold prices do not jump on the bandwagon soon, mining companies' stocks could lose their pizzazz, they said.

"The stocks are forecasting higher prices but they are wrong," said Peter Ward, mining analyst at Lehman Brothers. "The trade I like at this point is to be long the metal and short stocks, because either I'm wrong and the metal does rally, in which case it's already built into the stocks, or it doesn't rally and these stocks are grossly overvalued."
