Anyway, I'll make your day. Just been listening to Anglogold's financial director on TV. He says that gold price is going to make its move very soon. Also says that, in his opinion, $280 is too low and $350 is a fair price.

He blames financial journalists and various financial institutions for keeping gold price low and says every time the price tries to rise they advise their clients to sell and sell forward. Anglo is undertaking an investigation into this.

He also says that IMF sales at 5-10m oz are about equal to the annual production of Anglogold = 10% of world gold production which should easily be absorbed by the market which he also says is very strong. He doesn't believe the Swiss sales are a serious factor --- the amount of gold is not large and sales are spread over 6 years.

I got a short term sell on the XAU today. Are you saying I'd better buy back quick? I might just do that. Hopefully at a lower price.
