Carl, <<ask at 7/32>> For some reason, this stock bid/ask gets bumped in each direction at the close of trading. It may have to do with the stock trading on the AMEX, but the actual trading on a Canadian for the stock transfer, not sure. The stock never traded at 7/32 today. <<take on the price of gold>> I think it's just a dead cat bounce, short covering. It will take the prospects for real inflation and/or a stalled S&P to have any real movement in gold IMO. It's been 10 years that the goldbugs have told us that gold is going up, we could all be dead first. The central banks are selling and have a lot of gold to sell. It would take a shock to the monetary system to have a change in attitude by governments. IMO play the 5-10% swings to trade the metals, use a mutual fund that parrots the XAU, you get leverage of approximately 3 over the POG. See exchange2000.com for some gold mutuals.
