He also played keyboards on a number of Rolling Stones albums in the 70's, as well as many others. Somebody plastered trash at the URL for the New York times article about the Chinese spy covering up evidence.

You wouldn't mean Al Kooper, would you, Bill? Who indeed was a founder of BS&T, but was gone by the time of the 2nd, eponymous album with David Clayton-Thomas on vocals that had most all the radio hits. I liked "Child is Father to the Man", the original BS&T album, better that what followed, but that wouldn't be a mainstream opinion. For Neocon, brees, and, oh, I don't know, lorrie? Child is Father to the Man contains a track not to be missed, #11: The Modern Adventures Of Plato, Diogenes And Freud
