NextNest, I read all the OILS published stuff and it has essentially no technical meat. The GTL technology in Russia HAS NOT run at anything like commercial quantities as I understand it with an OILS front end. The latter is the only thing OILS has developed on their own that I find. Patented? Got a number? I found the one for working with oxides of nitrogen. Is that what you're talking about? OILS has neither developed nor patented any GTL technology that I know of, as opposed to gasification front ends which are NOT GTL.

OILS may have a competitive gasification approach in the GlidArc. Again, that is NOT GTL. Even a paper in Houston today mentioned that the process will get a chance to show its stuff soon. Just out of curiosity, if the Russian GTL technology was a winner, don't you think they'd be peddling it to others having a lot more clout and resources than OILS. But what do I know. Maybe those guys just want to prove they can start from scratch and succeed with OILS.

"However, I believe OILS may have the technology that beats slurry reactors. And yes, the process is patented (first stage of the process known as GlidArc)"

As demonstrated by this statement Nextnet, a little bit of knowledge is a very dangerous thing. I can't believe your OILS handlers let you post this! Care to try it again? LOL
