The first time I heard of StochRSI was in an early post from David Evans who used StochRSI(14) for entering and exiting trades as part of his famous DNS(Dave's New system).

He set up a template in MSWIN that included Dahl, MACD(8-17-9),Insync, DNS, StochRSI(14) and StochRSI(8,5) indicators.

He used Dahl, Insync and DNS for Direction. He wanted all 3 to be moving up and Insync crossing up thru 50.

StochRSI(14) s/b crossing up thru 30, StochRSI(8,5) has crossed up thru 20 and may even have crossed up thru 80, and MACD(8-17-9) s/b be crossing up thru 0.

I've played around with this a little and find that both MACD(8-17-9) and StochRSI(14) are pretty accurate in terms of indicating entries/exits.

There are posts with the formulas for Dahl, DNS, and Insync on this thread if you're interested.

Nico, I use a barage of junk and need to simplify. I dont use a system that does a pure stochRSI trade but I test the 13,13 often. I use it with a slew of stuff, a bunch of "56" indicators and DNS and Dahl and I usually look at the 3,2, the 13,5 and the 34,13 on my Q+ screen.

check out Dave and gonz post on SRSI as they have it down...
