NATIONAL POST IWM "HOT STOCKS" : Saturday, May 01, 1999 Infowave touches new high 'Watershed' deals Garry Marr Financial Post Infowave Wireless Messaging Inc. (IWM/VSE), up 35¢ to $3.85, on volume of 3.6 million shares. The software developer's stock gained another 10% yesterday and touched a 52-week high of $4.45. The appreciation followed Thursday's runup after the company reported strong first-quarter sales spurred on by the fact that Infowave's software makes Apple Computer Inc.'s iMacs compatible with non-Apple printers. Jim McIntosh, chief executive of Infowave, said the company will announce "watershed strategic agreements in the second quarter that will cement our leadership position in this business." SOMETHING tells me we're going to have a good week (Longs) coming up ......
