Wayne, I agree about the quality of the Wood field. Don't know about the track being wet, but it was definitely blazing fast. I believe I recall that the 7f track record was broken that day by nothing special. However, the final 3/8 was very impressive and I'm not impressed with the field. He shouldn't have much trouble if he gets out OK. I think he's currently 20-1. With Menifee likely to hold 5-1 or lower, I'll box the 3 of them, but won't consider Menifee for a win plunge. In any case, I won't be betting much on the race as I don't feel very confident. Don't usually bet to place, but Derby day generally pays well, so will probably back-up either selection.
