Still, it's a remarkable sell-off. In my experience, when a graph runs at virtually right-angles to the time axis (as this does), the market is discontinuous (unstable) and a rebound is inevitable. For the fall to continue, the rate of fall has to continue accelerating --- which means the price will be 800 next week -- and 500 in two weeks. And maybe zero a week later! Which, of course, is possible, but most unlikely. If the rate of fall slows, or stops, then that's effectively a reversal. Looks to me like it could happen very, very soon.

By the way, I don't usually look at cocoa. I found this by going through all the charts. I wanted to comment that the DMark and SFranc look like the've bottomed -- which is good for gold.
