GG: I don't argue the strategic fit of Global Marine from GBLX's perspective. But don't you foresee a competitive issue here a la T and LU. LU was spun off, in part, because management of both companies felt LU was being penalized because of its T affiliation--other carriers would not use LU as a vendor. Doesn't the C&W unit face the same aversion on the part of the other deep ocean, fiber-deploying carriers? Regards.

Dear Mr. Gilder, As a newbie and respectee of Gilderism, I would like to inquire as to your opinion of "last mile" and its importance. I recently read in Motley Fool, that MFNX is a company that can accomplish this which makes it a valuable company. Do you concur with that opinion? (please forgive if you've already discussed this elsewhere and direct me to that info) Thank you, debra
