I've got to get ready to go dancing but I wanted to mention a couple of things even though I do not have a background as a rose gardener. JDN on the Sun thread raises many roses. He might be able to help you. Do you soak the bare-root rose in a plant starter b4 you plant. When you plant the rose, pour the water that you soaked it in over the rose. This blue roses sounds exotic. Maybe, you should consider buying a special soil for the plant. Gotta run, M
