First of all you don't set precedence in the US with Canadian law. It is stunningly different and hasn't the same 1st Amendment protections. That being said if it happened in the state the matter is not analogous. They were alarming people and requiring them to do something. That is much different than people applying their free will and flocking to a site for Government Cheese.
