on ORCL: I agree that despite early hopes ORCL is not going to be a close partner - although they will still have a good working relationship with i2 IMO. They can't afford to not compete in SCM with their own offering, but I really wonder if they can afford to not integrate well with i2. Some people that I've seen posting seem to feel that i2/ORCL functionality was actually helping ORCL win some deals that they otherwise wouldn't get.

Don't know if SAP is CAT and Ford's ERP. There's been an underlying theme in the past couple of CC's regarding automotive. Sanjiv has spent quite a bit of time discussing the importance of cracking the automotive supply chain - far more time than the revenues would indicate. It's interesting to see that things are starting to happen there.

I don't know what to make of Dave Carey's departure. A company like ITWO has a pretty bright future so it must be one whale of a good incentive package to lure him from the company.
