Captain,
Tend to agree that the "rotation" will work its way around again to tech and the net. Also agree that the overall message of plowing money back into the brand and forgoing profits was old news. Don't you think it was rather stupid for them to report a brightening "profit" picture if they really wanted to keep analysts on their side? Surely Ms. Covey could have managed the results better than that (or maybe her inability to do so is costing her the job of CFO?). Comments welcome.

Captain Leap (is that a leap of faith ?)

>> Look for buying on Monday as the new money comes pouring into the market.

Yes that could be. Actually I thought today they did some buying. Took it to 180. But it didn't stick. But as you point out, several internets faltered today also. So we can't say amzn was singled out. I agree with all that.

I disagree about the factors that will keep amzn price up at the current level. I have noticed that amzn either goes up, or down. It does not stay level. My belief is the upward drivers are exhausted for now, and therefor it is vulnerable to any general market downdraft until some catalyst comes along. Maybe a split, a new business or partnership. But since I am not aware of any such thing, I can only say it has run out of rocket fuel for now and therefor going down to a more crowded area of the price chart. Which to me seems the 130 plus or minus 10.
