Webpad in Q3, Intel's version later!

news.com

A research team at Intel believes it has developed an ideal way for people to access the Internet from home.

Flattery is great (I like the use of the word 'developed'). Intel puts millions into research and finds out that NSM was right the whole time.

My $0.02

Well, I've always thought the internet was great for most things and when I first used it, I thought it was the end of traditional paper magazines and newspapers. I was wrong. In the past couple of years, I haven't dropped any subscriptions and have even added a couple.

Why?

I like to sit back in the recliner when I read (or during breakfast, or outside, or...). It's that simple. Microsoft's 'subscription' idea would be great for the WebPad. It sits in your house, picks up the morning paper and the occasional magazine. You read it when you want.

I think that this is what the big volume was about?
