Dr. AHHaha, Just pointing out how the landscape has transformed beneath our feet. Ed, I guess you missed my point. I'm, not concerned over the demise of the egalitarian approach, since I never thought it would win out in a global manner in the end, anyway. If it had remained entirely egalit, we'd still be using 4.8 kb/s modems with plenty of bandwidth left over, to spare. But the entire model has changed, radically. Come to think of it, we wouldn't be using anything at all in that case, 'cept maybe a couple of Commodore users running at 300 bits per second...
