I agree coms' chart indeed looks really good right now. MACD is
finally back to +ve after spending three whole months on the -ve
territory.

The 13 day ma had also crossed the 26 day ma and about to cross the
50 day ma which is bullish.

MACD and 13/26 day ma combined gives a very good picture.

If I had trusted these two indicators Feb. 1 and dumped all coms,
I'll be very happy now. On Feb. 1 the 13 day ma crossed below the 26
day ma for the first time during the up trend and MACD was trending
down for well over a month since Jan.1 99.

I posted the above just to disclose the mistakes I made by not following what the chart clearly told me. I hope I have learned
something.

Let's just say that this day indicated a shift in the holders of the stock. Buy hold and shorts covering or shorts increasing their position. The following days where significant volume also occurred and the stock did not sink steadily, confirmed that the interest of the stock has turned to buy and hold and the shorts exiting. In coms case it held at 20, about 10% less in price than the low on that record volume date, and it promptly bounced to 27+. If shorts had increased their position then coms would be in the teens now.

So, if there are more buyers who are holding and the shorts are exiting the price of coms should go up as the available supply of coms stock dwindles.

NoName--- Volume preceds price and price preceds alibi. Volume is the greatest indicator of a short term move. Even a tiny price move on huge volume tells you the price will soon move in that direction and will make up the volume percentage--- at a later date you will find the reason why the move...
