Bill, Thanks for the response, (just as I was getting ready to call it a night). Yes, I am saying that someone may have 'fallen' for your 'joke', acted in haste and "sold stock A, to be able to buy Stock B as soon as it became available" I'm not saying it would be right, and I'm not saying it would be a smart thing to do. But it could have happened and it could have "cost someone some 'real' money" You can deny it all you want but it does not change. John
