Just guessing here, but i would expect that the 'real' in 'real estate' is related to 'royal' and not the 'real' as in 'actual' ... 'real' in spanish means 'royal' in english ... in the time of the formation of the english language all land rights were derived from crown grants, and all titles written in latin.

This is my day job, more or less, real estate ... and it's actually quite a good analogy imho ... location was important to the value of a particular webnode after all -g- ...... but a reasonable and prudent person imho does not make investment decisions of any kind before he checks stuff out.

And it helps him greatly to have a sense of humour.
