How did you come up with 31B market cap? My calculation is 23B.

You remind me of OtherChap on AMZN board this time last year. He has disappeared for long time from the board.

The simple fact is the investors who watch that stuff closely wouldn't touch PCLN anyway, so its not exactly relevant to the price of the stock. Internet traders/investors are used to completely obscene valuations. Why should PCLN be any different?

I'm sure a lot of people are telling themselves that PCLN has a better business model than AMZN - probably true. So they will have no trouble justifying a bigger market cap for PCLN. Maybe 150% the market cap of AMZN, which would put PCLN around $280 a share.
