Bigbull you are a class act and very much look forward to reading your posts. What you said may not have been in the best taste, but he is a public figure and has admitted to cocaine use. So all is fair even if it is not very nice. Keep up the good work and don't let Slider get to you. To me this took a lot of class to apologize and if Mr. Kudlow has any class it will be accepted and this issue done.

Please don't curtail your post because of this incident, cause you are valuable contributor and come up with some great posts.

Slider on the other hand....I think I will just hit the next button, enough said.

Regards,

Rory

BigBull, Slider, SargeK, et al

Please, we are all here for discussion, debate, learning, and profit.
We all are secure enough to admit a mistake - we all make them.

*********Comrades not combatants.***********

BTW Larry Kudlow was right, the Ven's are cheating. I read it right on this thread. Using the flimsy excuse of maintenance, the sneaky buggers (Please don't sue me.) are producing LESS than they are allowed to. Who can you trust these days? ;>) Winkman

Bigbull:

Your problem is not the accusation of cocaine use (since this is publicly acknowledged) but the accusation that his usage infers with his professional competency. Also, once a story is published, retractions don't work unless you are in the media. This is libel per se which means malice is inferred by the statement. Malice = punitive damages. Now maybe the law in your state is different so it would be prudent to talk to an attorney. There are many defenses to libel such as truth and privilege.

While I doubt Mr. Kudlow would waste his time on you, this should be a lesson for all to learn. Think first before you write something so stupid. I would see see an attorney who specializes in libel defense...tomorrow. Good luck.
