Dear John: You are correct and that is exactly the reason the stock touts should be jailed after they pump and or Dump a PoS stock. Jailed not fined.

I agree with you 100% on this one. There are stupid and not so stupid people that follow these idiots without more than a cursory glance at their motivation.

I am for jailing all stock touts and bashers that place false ot misleading information on the web or even at garage sales. That includes company officers that make BS releases and BS comments to people over the phone. It also includes those that repeat them on the net.

Thanks eye to eye on this one!

TG

Another point: you've allowed that the hypothetical person who sells the hypothetical real stock that he owns in order to buy nonexistant Webnode stock would lose money if the stock he sold subsequently went up, and make money if the stock subsequently went down.

Fair to say, since market movements can't be predicted, that he has an equal chance of winning or losing as a result of his "mistake". Note in addition that the "mistake" he made is one for which he bears full responsibility: no one advised him to do what he did.

He has no case at all, in my view. He had even odds. Remember: he took only one real action. He sold stock, which might later go up or down. Webnode doesn't even come into it.

The Consequences of Truth
or
The Dual Nature of Gray

Sometimes gray can be almost indistinguishable from black.
The artist however knows that even a small amount of white pigment means that it is gray that is being used. It may be used to imply black, or used as black, it is however gray.
The clearest whites require only a smidgen of black to move firmly into the gray area. This again, can be used as white and can be used to heighten black, or gray that is near black.
Such fine distinguishing characteristics are often beyond the reach of many readers, in that case, slappstick works well.

You were invited John, and I believe that the invitation was given in all sincerity. I have not asked you too do anything difficult like expound upon gray, I have asked you to look at a very simple list, just skip the references you don't understand and decide. Have you done that in your mind ?

Good things and bad things are all gray, it must be so.
