Thanks, Baton. Congrats on your comittment and best wishes on your goals. I was recently at a Barnes and Noble store and was amazed at the sheer number of books on trading, daytrading, online trading and every conceivable variation therof. I could not begin to make recs on which ones are best. Perhaps others would be better suited to offer some advice. Most of my training has been by the seat of my pants, and I am not a TA expert, however I often consult those who are before making a large or important buy. As for classes or seminars, unless you are wishing to daytrade, I think your time would be better spent developing your own trading style based on your own DD. Regarding instruments, let's just say I've performed on a half dozen or so different ones over two decades, depending on the style, situation or need. . .but have mostly stayed behind the scenes with composing/producing. . . however, I have an ongoing jazz flugel project in progress. . .no telling when it will be completed. . .no hurry. . . not similar to anything else. . .sort of a re-invention with all new rules, new colors, new combinations over "melting pot" grooves that transcend style more than adhere to it. . .more structure than improv. . . and very melodic, making it more accessible to the masses, yet still very hip. . .and distinctive, nothing similar. . .what happens when a composer is given carte blanche . . . no parameters, no rules, no time restraints. . . And yes, Baton. . . my baton has been to most every session with me over the years. . .tho I usually just reserve it for conducting strings or larger ensembles that express better when following a leader. . . no use whatsoever, since moving to Nashville. . .
