Jim - " I just know that at first, Intel denied there even "was" a sub-1000 market." Total agreement. It was called Segment Zero. To be fair, Intel honestly believed that this market could be served with products on the tail end of the product cycle. I believe if you asked Grove today if he was in denial a couple of years ago, he would honestly answer yes. I believe that because of this denial, Intel is having to claw its way back to convince customers, such as yourself, that Intel is serious about the low end. I acknowledge this perception problem exists. Hopefully for Intel's sake, the i810 plus Celeron package will go along way in establishing Intel's good name as a quality supplier for the Value PC Segment. PB
