Samsung Electronics Launches "yepp", the World's Smallest MP3 Player The size of a calling card (58mm x 85mm x 17mm), "yepp" comes with FM radio, telephone directory and recorder function. World market for MP3 players estimated to be 1.2 million units this year and soaring to 30 million units by 2005, surpassing that for cassette tape recorders. Samsung aims to sell 500,000 units this year and capturing the top share of the world market. systemlogic.net Its a pretty good design, (I want one!) and comes with 16 or 40 MB of some kind of static ram, Sony, Panasonic, Philips etc will all have them on the shelves for the Christmas season. Cassette players are dinosaurs.
