BNE..I've watched this one for a while and it should be added to our databases as one that will move. Bowne could double share price - Business Week NEW YORK, April 29 (Reuters) - Bowne & Co. (BNE - news), a financial printer, software provider and market leader in electronic data-filing services, has recently caught the eye of investors, Business Week said. Bowne is undervalued, possibly worth twice its recent share price, according to money manager David Rocker of New York's Rocker Partners, Business Week reported in its May 10 edition. Bowne closed at $17.50 Thursday, down 12.5 cents, in trade on the American Stock Exchange. Rocker told the magazine that Bowne was mulling ways to enhance shareholder value, including taking public all or part of its new businesses, such as the software and electronic data units. Analyst Rudolf Hokanson of CIBC Oppenheimer thinks that while printing remains critical to Bowne's cash flow, new elements of the company will increasingly influence the valuation, Business Week said. Bowne has become an integrated Internet and e-commerce services provider, and owns a 12.6 percent stake in Edgar Online, which is set to go public.
