Some thoughts on 3 subjects

1-Fewer shares should be available on the open market from Cal Reed. He was a major force in getting Seagate up to speed and took a pay cut to join Valence, only to put in a long stretch while seemingly being accused of being a criminal. I congratulate him on his new endeavor which should provide more than ample cash flow, perhaps enough to buy more VLNC in the single digits!

2-The stock price is probably half what it would be if a "normal" amount of promotion were done by the company. Instead, the company has refused interviews with the media so as not to seem promotive because of the lawsuit. The company seems to have been speaking softly and carrying a big stick! The hiring of marketing VP Battison is a sign that this policy should soon reverse because of his background and contacts with the media.

3-As before, the appeals court may appoint a "special master" to render an opinion on the case. A tour of the NI facility turning out 30 batteries per minute (when 5 per minute on one shift can pay the bills) should be enough to convince anyone that Valence is for real.

4-Announcement of a large contract should preclude a plant tour to convince the court.

FWIW, last Friday's closing broke last Monday's "upside move". Longer wait. Ram
