We have an October Greek festival here though I guess I should check and see if there's anything in spring as well. But the strongest thing to drink there is retsina, which I actually like a lot, at least I like it once a year. The music is too loud but that's just the way it is, and the food is very good. What is fun is to get together at a table and watch the empty retsina bottles pile up until everyone from five years old to seventy-five is out dancing. And I have never had a hangover from that.
