hi marcos
or
I know you remember Antares

In that case more than one cogent poster took the side of Antares against john. That action, though upsetting to many members of the community was announced through the auspices of a actual membership. I am sure their lawyers advised against it.

Business Wire has certainly gone further in applying pressure. They have filed a lawsuit because several individuals have taken the time, and spent the money, to demonstrate for everyone, exactly how easy it is to utilize the Business Wire service, or any other service for that matter, to fool the public. Companies regularly release false news items, if the SEC is any judge, and they don't seem to suffer the indignity of these harassing lawsuits. I will attempt to verify this, hold on... #reply-9269158 perhaps Greg can tell us. Each of the figures (the Webnode 3) has a clear and demonstrable background of unmasking activities by companies which are not in the public interest.
This attack, and it certainly is an attack, will not win Bidness Wire any friends in the reading world. The may pick up a few yEllen's. For a company that is in the business of being a herald, you think they would try and keep their clothes a bit cleaner anyway. Heh, maybe they are trying to win the washer/dryer combination.
