Agora/Stocker/pdlfin/bilt/anoyone, I am trying assess whether YF's fundamental outlook has changed for the negative (as some posters believe). Where can I get some hard-core detailed financial data on YF's latest quarterly performance? Do they provide breakdown of their financials by business units (by Franchising, by Grocery, by Brand, etc.) In particular, it would be useful if we can analyze how the YF Franchisees and the corporate stores are operating financially....my impression is that there were some setbacks but I would like to quantify this. I realize they don't provide this sort of info on the annual or quarterly report but does anyone have any "internal mgmt" info on the health of their franchising units? This was always their "bread & butter" high margin business so it's important to assess whether there is a general downturn on that side of the business. Trying to get back to the fundamental assessement of YF!!

"head strong" - yah, my wife says the same thing!!! bilt - I've said many times here where I stand on YF and I'll say it again - I have been long YF in the past, but sold when emerging markets started to crumble. I am neither long of short YF right now. My bias if I had one would actually be to buy shares. Still, I haven't convinced myself (and that's what a lot of this is about) to buy yet. I want more signs of a turnaround first and I'm looking for info here and elsewhere so as not to miss them. As for my posts, ignore them if you will, they're really not written to tout or bash YF anyway. You're long YF anyhow so they're sometimes not what you might want to hear. That said, I think I've always been unbiased about YF and will continue to post my thoughts. The debate on this thread has been better than most on SI and I currently follow 30-40 stocks here. To me, there is nothing wrong with disagreeing with someone, only to agree with the same person on another matter a few posts later. That's happened here many times for me and I think I've looked at different perspectives as a result. Re Agora, you're right that here is not the place so this is the last time I will mention his/her name. Again, there is nothing wrong with questioning the what you see on the web, regardless of the source. There is a lot of bogus or slanted info available. In fact, I know a trader who lost big bucks on the recent Pairgain/Bloomberg scam. You have to question whatever you read/the sources of that info. For me, given that I work as a trader, it's actually even more important - it's not my money to lose!! I don't know what the deal is with Agora, don't care to know actually. He's likely quite legit. I suspect though that if he was a bear on YF, you wouldn't have a problem with what I've said. What I am saying is don't take for granted what you read here, in analyst reports, or even see on CNBC. Every source usually has an angle. Now back to YF.....
