I read this on another thread ,, interesting post and article.

As long as everyone is comparing NVDM to MRBA, lets not forget that NVDM is planted into more than just managing desktop software and
internet 'push' technology. The ATM machine advertising could become a standard one day on the millions of machines out there in the world.
NVDM is the leader in providing the software capable of doing this.
Here is another recent article I have found within the banking industry that strengthens NVDM's diversity as well as its ability
to provide another reliable revenue generator.

Looking to provide a value-added service, San Francisco-based Wells Fargo is testing advertising on ATM screens and receipts, including
merchant discount offers. The electronic ads and incentives appear during the "Welcome," "Transaction Processing" and "Thank You" message
screens. At presstime, 340 Diebold and NCR Wells Fargo ATMs in the Bay Area were running the promotions. The $202 billion bank has
6,100 ATMs overall in its network.

"While an ATM is processing a transaction, an animated ad is displayed," said Barry McCarthy, vice president of marketing and business
development for Wells Fargo's express banking group. "Once the transaction is complete, that message is reinforced when the customer's receipt
is dispensed. We combined the visual stimulus of the animated ad on-screen with the call to action as customers leave with the receipt.

"The customer not only sees the message, it actually goes with them when they leave the unit," he added. "The receipt could hold a coupon, an
additional message, locations and directions for a sponsoring retailer, or a Web site address."

Wells Fargo developed the animation technology in-house but has enlisted Novadigm , Emeryville, Calif., to provide the software distribution
solution.

"Instead of having to reprogram each machine to run different messages, now we can reprogram the units simultaneously," McCarthy explained.
"We want the flexibility to change messages as often as we like, and this application allows us to change messages from a central location each
time."

One ATM promo that's made a splash, McCarthy said, is a gift-certificate incentive from Amazon.com, the popular Internet bookseller."We are
always looking for ways to add value at our ATMs," he noted.

The bank also has stepped up ATM transaction time by adding Pentium processors and TCP/IP-based data transmission to the machines. "This
upgrade provides faster communication to customers and makes the units more reliable," McCarthy said.

Wells Fargo will consider the electronic promotions and upgrades for its other ATMs based on the pilot's success, he added.
