Exodus Continues European Expansion Opens European Sales Offices, Establishes UK Security Consulting Team and Names Vice Presidents for European Sales and Operations SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 3, 1999-- As part of its strategy to bring leading Internet system and network management solutions for mission-critical Internet Operations to Europe, Exodus Communications(TM), Inc., (NASDAQ: EXDS - news) today announced it has opened several European sales offices, established a UK Internet security consulting team and named its European management team. European Sales Offices, IDC and Server Hosting Facilities As Exodus continues to extend its operations throughout Europe, the company is opening sales offices in various European countries. Exodus has opened offices in London, Germany and the Netherlands. These new offices enable Exodus to extend its European reach and to work with regional customers to help tailor solutions and services for their specific Internet needs. Exodus recently announced the planned second quarter opening of its London IDC. In addition to the London IDC opening, the company also plans to open two server-hosting facilities in Europe by the end of this year. UK Security Consulting Team Exodus is extending its highly regarded Internet security consulting expertise to its European customers. As an extension of its US-based subsidiary Arca Systems(TM), Exodus has established a UK security team of professionals to provide companies with the security services they require. The new UK Internet security team has extensive expertise in high-end security requirements for the European region.
