Behold the mighty fisherman, he awaketh early (for me that's around the crack of noon!) and disturbeth the whole household. He ventures forth full of great hope. He returneth late, smelling of strong drink. And the truth is not in him!!! <ggg>!!! But I will do my best to weave the story exactly as it occurred! I've been doing the same trip to the same river for 20 years with the same five guys! It's beyond a tradition in my life! It's a landmark... a rite of spring. There's a steelhead somewhere in the Pacific throughout the winter that I will meet in the Spring. It's a great thought to get through those dark cold winter months of Alaska. I'll be watching for biplanes trailing banners or smoke writing in the sky, Steve <ggg>! Abacan... isn't this thread about Abacan??? Hmmmm.... Hmmmmmm... Abacan.... Something's got to happen eventually... There will be a next chapter... but I don't think it has been written yet. It's as vague and unpredictable as fishing. Paul L. Craig
