Thread: a stupid question- when QNTM stock splits into two tracking stocks, how will it happen overnight? How will the opening price of the two stocks will be set, when the two stocks open in the morning? Is it like an IPO?

Does the SEC have any rights in rejecting QNTM's plan of tracking stocks? What conditions have to be met for it to be approved by SEC?

Thanks in advance.

<<Another comment. Lawrence is right. Maxtor is tantalizing at these prices and not just to
individual wandering investors like us. They are a primary take over target IMO.>>
To another disk drive company or to who? Maybe to a consumer products company like Sony who see the future value? -Z
