Wasteman, I think I can do you a little better than some of the flip responses you recieved from your inquiry. It seems that this thread has degraded into a private message board, with very little valid discussion of MYNG these days. Let me give you a brief synopsis, and anyone else can help fill in the blanks. You state that you have not followed the stock in a long time, so lets go back a ways: MINE completed their shaft to the Paleocanal around a year and a half ago. Las years El Nino had devastating effects on that region of Bolivia, and set the company back considerably. The SEC suspended MINE after the 156 million ounce inferred gold reserves were announced from independant consultant Guido Pavarinci. We have been trading on the Pink Sheets ever since, apparently at spreads of 100 to 150%, from what I can see, although I haven't tested the water. Ticker symbol change to MYNG. Behr Dolbear (spelling?) was contracted to help establish a work plan for the property, and has conducted further sampling which has verified the existence of substantial quantities of gold on the property, but the sampling is not adequate to establish reserves. A recent announcement by the company has stated that they have not as of yet recieved the report from BD. Although the thread has recieved a report from either a fly on the wall or the bus boy at one of GE's dinners with BD, where BD representatives made some very encouraging statements about the property. the company is still cash strapped. The share count at last check was around 109 million. Recent letter to shareholders from GE president Terry Turner, outlining the objectives of the company.Top priority at this point in time is to attempt some means of integrating the Bolivian coop into the company, as they hold an 18 % interest. Negotiations in this regard have been ongoing. the company also wants to pursue further acquisition of properties in the immediate area....... Mr. Turner stated that no substantive discussions with Majors have occured. Nor did he anticipate them occuring until consolidations, acquisitions, and BD report were finalized. (More or less my take on his comments) He would prefer a joint venture or acquisition by a major, but also seemed prepared to push forward toward production on a limited budget once a mine plan is established. We wait for the BD report. We wait for getting relisted to the bulletin board and off the pink sheets. Hope that helps, Vincenzo Geppeto Moretto P.S. some of the old timers still drop by, Doug Lapp showed up not too long ago, as did the Jackel, Brian NL seems to have disappeared......
