hi paul. i agree with you. pvtl is quite attractive. but fwiw, here is my very recent experience. i go to the site. it's easy, informative, great. then i get to the price, and say, woa! because there was no breakdown and it seemed more than i was expecting. so then i call American Airlines travel service, and i had someone walk me through all the issues, real time. so even though the price did not end up being much (although perhaps a little) cheaper, i felt more secure knowing my decision was right. don't get me wrong. have been long pvtl in the past. think it's a great concept. but.....
