Kevin - RE: "The simple fact that you've seen fit to label the K& the desKtop 7 but haven't done that for any other AMD processors is just indicative of your anxiety about the K7's potential in the server market. If it didn't worry you, you wouldn't bother."

Well Said!

Kevin - Re: "You're actually increasing my optimism abut the K7"

Good.

The desKtop 7 due in 4 1/2 weeks at 700 Mhz will be universally adopted by the PC industry.

The groundswell of support and industry accolades for this chip will definitely make it an industry standard for desKtops, Workstations and Servers.

Kevin - $90 is the current price for 400 MHz Kmart 62's.

By the end of next week, we'll see this in the $80's .

$61 will get you a 350 MHz Kmart 62.

AMD is SLOW RAMPING the Kmart 63 so as to keep prices LOW for their Kmart 62 customers.
