NTAP seems a probable Gorilla in server memory...but what's going on with the stock? Does the Intel plan impact this one into oblivion?

Properly, NTAP is the gorilla in the rapidly growing network attached storage (NAS) market. I believe its stock has been affected by disappointment at EMC, which really has no bearing on NTAP. NTAP has a very different market from EMC, as NTAP is providing storage to UNIX and NT boxes, particularly in internet and intranet server farms.

INTC's move into services will have not effect on NTAP, and I would be interested to know why you even ask. I can't imagine the connection but would like to hear your perspective.

NTAP earnings come out on 5/19. Expect, as usual, they will beat by 1 or 2 pennies.

Dell's new storage subsystem is being provided by NTAP, so expect rising expectations the rest of this calendar year.

BTW, Moore's "Inside the Tornado" is required reading at NTAP, really.
