No, Not from the pound. A co-worker of my wife knew of this dog who was being mistreated and stole it. Not this dog but Duke. Kept in a small crate except when he was being beaten. He got stolen and wound up here. He growled a lot but he wanted love. We went for walks and I sat and petted him. Really a nice critter. The stealing family wanted to get him back in June when they had a house on 10 acres. 1/2 half mile from here they let him off leash and he ran onto the road and got killed. I buried him and made a little cross. Shit happens, shit gets dumped on your head. Again and again.
