They picked Philly Because it's known for the most advanced automated market system available with no human market makers of specialists around. It has a nice mix of both traded equities and options contracts, so it's a microcosm of greater equity markets. It also stays open till 4:15pm which will also help ASTN settle their average balanced trades after hours. Remember people, this is just a test run that will be expanded soon enough to far greater platforms when it's success is confirmed. Besides, if you are a large tennant in a small building, you get much better service from the landlord then does a small tennant in a very large building.
