The Will Rogers philosophy of investing

If I recall correctly he was asked a question by a reporter about the stock market. His response was to the effect: "It's easy to make money in the stock market, all you have to do is buy some stock, wait for it to go up, then sell it." To which the reporter responded: "but what if the stock goes down?" Rogers replied: "if it goes down, don't buy it." :^]
