Now that MyPublish is up and running, it seemed like a good time to re-activate this thread (if anyone still has it bookmarked) as a place where we can discuss the mechanics of the system. In my initial efforts to use MyPublish I've found it to be a very smooth adaptation of Wave's older system. It was extremely easy to get content Wave-enabled and available for purchase. I'm wondering about a few technical issues however.

First is this "https" thing -- is there any possible way to use HTML to make links that start with this header appear properly when you post them? You want to be able to link to your content simply and easily, if possible.

Second, is anyone else finding that their old SMO's are no longer coming up now that MyPublish is running? Are we going to have to change all our links to old content so that it will run through MyPublish? (God, I hope not...my novel is multiply linked to other chapters.)

Third, I downloaded one of my test MyPublish SMO's (https://prodpur.wavesys.com/pricecheck/?http://prodcontent.wavesys.com/content/beep.smo) to my hard drive and was able to purchase it with the meter on my Hauppage WinTV board. That was very cool. I figured at this point that I'd bought the product. But when I tried to open it again it wanted me to buy it again. Seems like I should own it outright now.

These are just a few of my questions and concerns as I test drive the system. If I get really motivated I'll e-mail Wave for some answers and post them here. But I thought I'd first open the discussion here, so that we can all benefit. I'm really anxious to hear about other people's experiences with MyPublish. This is very exciting.
