In case anyone's still interested in Strictly Drilling and oil-field services I've added something new to the osxstocks.com
site. Historical earnings estimates charts. Now you can quickly see if analysts have been raising (not since June 1998) or lowering earnings estimates osxstocks.com

Interestingly, earnings estimates for the next year are continuously being revised downward in spite the wonderful 80% rise in oil prices osxstocks.com

I guess the analysts don't believe the current prices will hold. However the market differs as the OSX has risen almost as well (60%). The analysts were behind on the way down, I imagine they are behind on the way up too. Personally I'm waiting for one more dip before jumping back in (to be signaled by the weekly stochastics osxstocks.com
It may never come, but I'm not entirely unhappy with where my money is now (large cap growth stocks).

I did participate in the current run-up somewhat however. Bought FGI at 10 ... sold it at 12. Oh well !!!!

"Please stop this nonsense now".

Right on Brent!

This thread is to help us make money in OS. It is not a forum for temper tantrums
