ALL: A question with particular relevance to U.S. shareholders

Has anyone looked into how a U.S. shareholder should apportion their original cost basis in Winspear shares to the resulting "New Winspear" and Diamondex shares? Canadian taxpayers might also have to address this question. I don't think that the simplistic approach of assuming zero cost basis for Diamondex is correct but I can't support that assertion.
