JENNA and her merry band of loyal traders. Back from 10 days in the Caribbean. Terrific rest with one exception; took a 6-seater "puddle-jumper" from Vieques airport to catch our flight back leaving from San Juan Int'l. Airport. 20 minute flight, perfect weather. Worst flight I've ever experienced and I'm a "tough" flier. My lady was badly shaken, lady behind me vomitted, another fellow moaned "Worst flight I've ever had". The airline was Vieques Air Link...the pilot was indifferent. Plane rocked up, down, sideways...landed with three hard bumps. Moral: Vieques Air Link has no competition; you don't like the way they do business, tough, swim the 15 miles. This is what sometimes happens to companies that have a "monopoly" or a huge market share; they can get "lazy", forget the early days, forget what got 'em where they are. As a trader I'd steer clear of these outfits; competition can knock 'em (and their stock) for a loop. Too many possibilities for "negative" earnings surprises. Too many other fine companies to trade.
But it's great to be back, I'm rarin to go. Daniel, I did worry about you. Are you OK?
