Michael, I started reading the article by Alan Keyes, although against my better judgement, but after a short while it was obvious that his version of the truth was laced with faulty logic and misunderstandings.

For instance:

"Our immoderate response to the limited oppression that was occurring in Kosovo before the NATO assault ..."

Limited oppression? There was wide spread oppression and brutality! I guess it sounds better if the truth is toned down to fit the writer's goals.

"Countries that are concerned for ethnic or religious compatriots in neighboring countries will seize this precedent, reasonably enough, as justification to attack those neighbor states."

Give me a break! You could say the same thing if NATO did nothing, and blame it on their inaction.

If you accept Mr Keyes writtings as your gospel, I can see why you might be so confused.
